TNet Hardware

TNet is a reliable, high performance, low latency network to build commodity supercomputing clusters.

It is used in the 64-processor T1 supercomputer at the EPFL - the sixth fastest supercomputer in Switzerland. MPI standard 1.2 is used as a programming interface. We offer a state-of-the-art 64-Bit PCI adapter with an aggregate bandwidth of 180 MB/s, as well as a cascadable 12-port switch. Systems up to several thousand nodes can be built using these two components.
