Encointer is a cryptocurrency platform that allows any community to build their own currency by holding regular key signing meetups as a condition to receive basic income in freshly issued currency. This work shall simulate the economics of such community currencies.
As a starting point, the village market simulator by grassrootseconomics.org shall be used, which incorporates a lot of experience with community currencies in Kenya (Sarafu Credit).
The simulation shall also apply the bancor protocol for allowing liquid exchange among neighboring communities.
