Innovative CPU based DSP Core from HARMAN’s Studer
19 years after Studer revolutionized the music industry with the first fully digital mixing desk, Studer will this year launch yet another innovation with the first large-scale mixing console to include a CPU-based DSP.
The new Vista X console is able to steer over 800 Audio DSP channels and over 5’000 inputs and outputs. The heart of the new system is a CPU-based DSP Core. This new core based on conventional CPUs offers advantages such as scalability and reliability which were not possible with the DSPs which have previously been used.
We would like to congratulate the development team at Studer and we wish them all success with this excellent product.
