Department Head AI and Algorithmics

As a Department Head at SCS, you have a lot of creative freedom in the management and further development of your department. You will be responsible for the following tasks:

    • Sale of projects
      • Identification of new customers and projects
      • Responsibility for profit and loss of the department
      • Acquisition of innovative software development contracts as well as AI and algorithmic projects
      • Project calculation & offer preparation
      • Negotiation of project contracts with clients
      • Strategy and positioning of the department
    • Ensure project implementation "on time / on budget".
      • Delegation of project responsibility to the project managers
      • Monitoring project processes and ensuring the success of the project
      • Maintaining long-term customer relationships and developing new customer relationships
    • Management of the team
      • Management of a team of highly qualified software engineers
      • Recruitment, personnel development and personnel appraisal
      • Team development
    • Responsible for defining the technical solution in close cooperation with the customer and internal experts.

  • Your profile

    • You have a university degree in electrical engineering, computer science or a related field, several years of professional experience in software development and project management.
    • You enthusiastically cultivate existing and develop new customer contacts.
    • You are passionate about innovative software solutions with high customer benefit.
    • You have stamina and are highly motivated to develop the department further.
    • You have a wide range of interests, are authentic, communicative, a team player and have a people-oriented management style.
    • You think in business terms and have the will to provide high-quality services in a B2B environment
    • You are business fluent in German and English.
