Live transcription for hearings, negotiations and interrogations
In the police and justice sector, confidential conversations such as interviews, negotiations and interrogations are often transcribed by hand. Our software solution automatically transcribes multilingual communication in real time and can be used for sensitive data.
Transcribing sensitive conversations
The Hastings live speech transcription solution enables the recording of interviews, interrogations, court hearings and employee meetings in real time: while the conversation is taking place, the spoken word is converted into text and can be edited, annotated and corrected immediately. This minimises the time required to create minutes and the time it takes for the minutes to be available. Past logs can also be edited very easily. An audit log makes any modifications traceable.
Recognising people and languages
The solution supports multi-channel audio and video and recognises who is speaking. A large number of languages are also supported and can be translated as required. The solution is perfectly tailored to the requirements of Swiss authorities in the justice and police sector. A particular focus is placed on confidentiality, data protection and IT security. The solution can run either on a specific device on site or in the local IT infrastructure, ensuring that data remains within the organization.
Further processing in specialized applications
If necessary, the transcript can be exported in various formats for further processing in specialist applications. The audio or video file can also be shared and viewed together with the linked transcript as an HTML file in a read-only viewer. The transcript makes it easy to find relevant passages, and clicking on a word starts playback at that exact point. This allows the original situation to be listened to.
The solution is continuously being developed and adapted to the ever-growing requirements of the authorities.
