The world is facing many geopolitical challenges. We would like to shed some light on these challenges and their impact on global supply chains. This presentation will provide a brief overview of today’s geopolitical events and the influences and challenges they pose for global supply chains. In addition to the geopolitical upheavals, the other external influences that have an impact on supply chains will also be highlighted. We have been able to win Marco Gredig, a renowned expert, for our presentation. For over 11 years, he has been Managing Director of Cargologic AG at Zurich Airport, Switzerland’s most important air freight centre, which handles almost 80 % of Swiss air freight exports.
