Software Project Manager – Ticketing rethought!

We have developed a high-performance ticketing solution for our customers throughout Switzerland (including Bern, Zug, Lucerne and St. Gallen), which is in use at over 2,500 points of sale (POS). This is continuously being developed and new functions added.
A particular highlight is our retrofit model, which allows us to equip existing ticket vending machines from other manufacturers with our software using reverse engineering and replace specific hardware components – for greater sustainability and longer life cycles. This approach was honoured with the Solar Impulse Foundation’s “Efficient Solution” label in 2020 and 2023.
Your tasks - you can make a difference here!
As a technical project manager in the field of public transport, you will take responsibility for the technical implementation and quality of our solutions. It is important that you can discuss, review and co-decide technical details with the developers at eye level, as you have development experience yourself. You will also play a central role in your projects by:
✔ Being the main point of contact for customers in the project
✔ Analysing and defining requirements and specifications
✔ Creating and optimising architectures
✔ Co-designing the implementation and ensuring that the solutions meet the highest quality standards
✔ Analyse problems in a structured manner and develop innovative solutions together with your team

Your profile as a technical project manager - what you bring to the table:
Mandatory
✅ A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field
✅ Practical experience in software development
✅ At least 2 years of experience in project management
✅ Very good knowledge of German (French is a plus!)
