This event offers an empowering platform to celebrate their accomplishments and connect with an industry speaker who shares relatable experiences and insights. It’s an occasion to share ideas, exchange experiences, and foster connections. Together, let’s celebrate the diverse perspectives that enrich the engineering landscape. Speaker: As an engineer with a master degree in electrical engineering from ETH Zurich, Katrin Blattner-Kempin has worked in the field of building technology for 20 years. During this time, she has gained broad experience as a software developer, project manager and product manager in a wide range of building technology fields. Her expertise spans across building automation, fire protection, building management systems, as well as field devices dedicated to energy-efficient control of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Today, she is senior team leader in the Product Management Department Digital Ecosystem at BELIMO Automation AG in Hinwil, a family woman with 2 children and has been successfully balancing part-time work and family life for over 10 years.

Katrin will tell us about her experiences as an engineer, how being an engineer offers a wide range of professional and personal development opportunities, how she combines family and career and what helped her to find her own way of combining these two passions in her life.
