About the Event

Visible Solutions developed the Photo Collect platform to process large volumes of ID photos for companies, authorities, and public organizations. Today, it is the most widely used platform for the automated processing of ID photos. Various algorithms detect the position and orientation of the face, remove the background, and verify the quality for official documents.

Many of these algorithms are offered by international cloud providers. However, for ID photos as particularly sensitive personal data, international cloud solutions are not a suitable option. Therefore, Visible Solutions and SCS have developed their own solution with tailored machine learning algorithms, supplemented by carefully selected open-source components.
