Supercomputing Systems develops hardware and software solutions on behalf of customers, from the initial idea to market readiness. As a development partner, we focus entirely on the success of customer projects. Our assignments often involve the delivery of a turnkey solution, which also includes IT platforms. Our scope of delivery extends from server, storage, and network hardware to hypervisors, operating systems, container orchestration, and applications.
Your Responsibilities
- Together with your teammates, you are responsible for the entire chain of design, procurement, implementation, installation, maintenance, and further development of solutions for our innovative customers.
- We use DevOps methods; therefore, you will be in constant exchange with the developers and often with the customer’s operations team.
You have the opportunity to collaborate on other exciting cloud projects in different departments. Additionally, there is the chance to develop yourself in another area alongside your main activity as a System & Cloud Engineer (e.g., IT security, DevOps in the Linux environment, hardware, firmware, or software engineering).
Your Profile
- Completed basic technical training and several years of hands-on professional experience in IT operations and cloud environments
- Support and administration of Kubernetes: You bring in-depth knowledge of the configuration, monitoring, and scaling of Kubernetes
- Development and implementation of automation solutions with Ansible: You are able to independently translate complex tasks into Ansible scripts
- Excellent written and spoken German skills
Furthermore, you convince us with experience in the following areas:
- Virtualization with VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V
- Dimensioning
