Towards Intelligent Control of Vehicle Depot Parking and Dispatching
The aim of this thesis is to investigate robust decision strategies for the real-time control of vehicle depots.

SCS has been an AMD Premier Partner (Xilinx Alliance Partner) since 2003, developing FPGA, hardware, and embedded solutions on AMD platforms, ranging from radar signal processing to automotive measurement technology.
Track-level precise, reproducible positioning for diagnostic trains, as a ready-to-use device in two form factors. Operational with SBB since 2023.
A vehicle router for buses, trams, rail vehicles, and emergency vehicles: Dual-provider uplink, antennas, and routing in a rooftop housing, connected via a single Ethernet cable with PoE.
SCS developed a radar demonstrator based on the AMD Versal Edge platform. The flexible Imaging Radar Toolkit processes radar data quickly and energy-efficiently using vector processors, serving automotive developers as a platform for radar technologies in autonomous driving.
Welcome to the SCS Afterwork Event!
SCS developed the Electronic Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) for the aerospace supplier HTS, which was used to test the Gradflex experiment of the Foton-M3 mission prior to its flight into space.
Fully opened industrial gates cause unnecessary energy loss. Together with Bircher Smart Access, SCS developed Hyperion 3D, a stereoscopic image processing system that opens gates only as high as necessary and closes them again as early as possible.
Burckhardt Compression designs and dimensions reciprocating compressor systems globally across various locations and regulatory frameworks. For this, SCS developed PlantCalc, a calculation software that supports engineering and enables cross-location collaboration.
In the semiconductor industry, leaky pipe connections can cause enormous damage. SCS developed an image-based inspection method for Georg Fischer that automatically assesses the quality of weld seams.
The Danish railway Banedanmark needs to digitize over 10,000 cable diagrams; purely manual entry would take years. SCS won the international competition for ideas with a concept designed to automate large parts of this work using learning systems.
Data is often unprotected during processing. SCS combines blockchain with Trusted Execution Environments so that sensitive data remains protected even during processing, making it verifiable which code is processing it.
