Initial Situation
Dispatch centers must manage an increasing number of communication channels and digital functions, while simultaneously continuing to operate proven radio and legacy systems. If these systems are operated separately, different interfaces and processes emerge. Therefore, an integrated solution is needed that brings together existing and new communication methods in a common operational interface.

SCS’s Contribution
SCS developed Mico as an integrated communication platform for dispatch centers. Telephony, radio, video, and other systems are brought together in a web-based interface and tailored to the workflows of control center personnel.
Result
SCS Mico reduces the number of separate communication systems at the control center workstation and combines different channels into a common operational interface. Existing radio and third-party systems can continue to be used and gradually supplemented with new functions such as video, transcription, and translation. Thanks to its web-based and virtualized architecture, the platform can be adapted to different control centers and future requirements.
